Presentation guidelines

All presentations must be made using the English language and all presentation materials must be created in English.

Presentation file format: Oral Presentation file must be made in Microsoft Office POWERPOINT or PDF.

Slide size: The size should be in a 4:3 format.

Fonts: We only supply fonts that are included in the basic installation of Windows. Fonts other than these should be embedded into your PowerPoint presentation. Use of fonts not included in Windows can lead to words that bleed into graphics or bullets that may be the wrong style.

Pictures: Images inserted into Power Point are embedded into the presentation. Images that are created at a dpi setting higher than 75 dpi are not necessary and will only increase the file size of your presentation. Try to avoid overloading your presentation with unnecessary images. JPG images are the preferred file format for inserted images.

Movies: Please create your movies as MPEGs, WMV or MP4. When building your presentation, all files (PowerPoint and external, i.e. movie files) associated with your presentation must reside in the same folder. Be sure you bring your movie files along with your PowerPoint presentation; they are NOT embedded into the PowerPoint

Deadline for submitting presentations by e-mail is 28th April 2018.
There will be speaker rooms at the venue. In case you are bringing your presentation to speaker room, please do it one day before you are presenting. In any other case we cannot guarantee quality of your presentation.
Our technicians will be at your service on site.

*Please bring your presentation file in USB memory stick with you to the presentation room as a backup in case of emergency.

Available A/V Equipment

Please observe your presentation time allotted to you. The session room equipment consists of:

  • Lectern with microphone, laptop, mouse and laser pointer (You will be able to control your presentation file on the lectern) 
  • Screen / LCD projector / microphone for Q&A / nameplate for presenters 
  • Time clock on the stage
Note: Although the presentation files should be submitted to the Speaker's Ready Room, connection line to a laptop will be prepared at the console for speakers who will use the personal laptop. However, we advise the speakers to bring your equipment for laptop connection including VGA connector to the session room.

Please visit the Speaker's Ready Room an half day before your presentation day to review or check your presentation file even though you have uploaded it.

E Poster Presentation Guidelines

E posters are electronic version/PDF of a poster presentation. The E posters may include text, figures, charts, tables, images and artwork but does NOT include any video, web links or animation. E Posters do not require printing or production of materials as your work (PDF) will be presented on the monitor in the dedicated E Poster area. And there is no E poster presentation required for E poster presenters.

There will be 42 inch screen set up in the E poster area

E poster presentation will be ongoing from May 6th to 8th

Please read the guidelines below carefully before working on your presentation file and the secretariat does NOT fix your presentation file on your behalf. Moreover, we do not accept your presentation file thru email so you must upload your E poster presentation

Language: All presentations should be made using the English language and all presentation materials should be created in English.

File Format: E Poster Presentation file format is PDF. E Poster Presentation file must be made in Microsoft Office POWERPOINT with up to 3 slides and then save it as PDF format.
On the Design tab, in the page setup group, click Slide Orientation. Then click Portrait (Vertical).
The size of slides must be 28.575cm:50.9cm. On the Design tab, in the page setup group, click Page Setup and Slide Size and go to Custom slide size and click on Custom in the slides sized for. Change the size to 28.575cm (Width) and 50.8cm (Height).

Move clips: No movie clips are allowed in the presentation file.

The size of text should be over 16 points.
